The beautiful Dolomites! We love this place, pretty much more than any other place. Passo Pordoi is known for the famous Sella Ronda route, which brings you over Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, Passo Gardena, and the lower Campolongo, as well as a part of the Maratona dles Dolomites granfondo.
Everything is so picturesque in the Dolomites. Five towns connect the four passes, and they all come with quality restaurants and hotels, and obviously some of the most scenic climbs in the world. Passo Pordoi from Arabba, you get the Sella Group mountain massif on your right side. You will pass both (another) Fausto Coppi monument, and the Germanic War Memorial, celebrating the German-Austrian war dead soldiers during the Great War. From Canazei, you will get a nice forest climb most of the way, until you reach the open in the final section.
Passo Pordoi was the first and the last of eight climbs in the High Altitude World Championships 2024.
