At first logon with your Strava account, we trawl all your Strava activities to create your complete profile, i.e. list of your Deux Mille cols done to rank your national and worldwide position. When multiple users are requesting the first-time sync, Strava simply queues the users.
After your profile is created, all updates from Strava will be instant.
Your nationality is picked up from your Strava account. If it's not there, you can manually add it under your profile ("Edit") by adding country in English manually.
Yes. Sometimes the baseline trawling of all your activities can stall, e.g. if we deploy an update during the sync process. You can force a resync at anytime in your profile view - upper left corner, by your profile image.
Why: Cols that have appeared in your list of activities before can disappear, if we need to change the segment ID. E.g. if Strava changes the segment ID.
What to do: Send us the Strava link to the activity, where you conquered the col. We'll fix it immediately -> https://deuxmille.cc/contact-us
Basically, we want to pick up the last segment of a climb, where no alternatte routes exists - or no GPS glitches occur. This is to avoid frustrations of not getting all cols added to your profile.
In other words, the segment link simply shows what segment is needed in your activity for us to automatically sync it to your Deux Mille profile.
Activity missing? Send us the Strava link to the activity, where you conquered the col. We'll fix it immediately -> https://deuxmille.cc/contact-us
Strava sync can only find activities that are public. If you have privacy mode switched on, generally or on certain activities, they won’t be visible for us to sync.
