BECOME THE FIRST
WORLD CHAMPION
Become the very first High-Altitude World Champion! Take part in a vintage event. It’s definitely something different:
- It’s a vintage self-supported climbing event.
- You have 12 hours to complete the full route.
- Only the eight col segments count towards your overall time.
- Timing will be based on your uploaded Strava segment times accumulated.
- Volunteers will only conduct manual segment timings for live leaderboards, and take photos and videos.
Counting segments:
Km 0: Passo Pordoi (from Arabba) 9.2 km (7.1%)
Km 16: Passo Sella 5.6 km (7.2%)
Km 26: Passo Gardena 5.9 km (4.0%)
Km 44: Passo Valparola 13.8 km (5.8%)

Deux Mille is not a race organizer for this event. We will facilitate a leaderboard by timing riders on segments and awarding the winners.
On the course, riders are on their own, which means riding self-supported, i.e. no depots, bike changes, mechanical help from outsiders, etc. However, you are free to get food, beverages, spare parts, tools, etc. where you can.
We believe in our participants, hence we expect no cheating. We reserve the right to disqualify participants from our leaderboard if we see irregularities.
Timing will be based on your uploaded Strava segment times accumulated. After 6 p.m., riders who have not uploaded their times or arrived in Arabba will be considered DNF.
